Host: Bill Kurtis.

When drifter Henry Lee Lucas confessed to hundreds of aimless murders in the mid-eighties, it opened one of the most bizarre cases in the annals of justice. He provided details of crimes nationwide which led to over 200 murder cases. But later independent investigation suggested that Lucas' claims were bogus as did another investigation by the Texas Attorney General. Lucas then recanted his confession but he remains on death row.
